July 25, 2015 - 175th Annual Orange County Fair - Orange County Speedway, NY

 

The Orange County Fair is one of the oldest fairs in New York State having been held the first time in 1818. This year will be the 175th anniversary of the Orange County Fair in Middletown, NY and will be open July 22 through August 2, 2015

We will be there July 25, 2015 @ 5PM

Bring the family for the rides, good food, games, live music and the demo derby! Friday night there will be Fireworks and don't forget to check out the antique Fire Trucks!

 

We were honored to have been chosen to be a supporting act on The Tiger Summer Tour 2015. If you havent heard of Easy Tiger you need to check them out. They are great musicians and a bunch of good guys. We are  looking forward to hearing more about you.

 

July 12, 2015 Tiger Summer Tour - The Meat Locker, Montclair, NJ

 

Congratulations to Flathead Sky, The Idjits and Simple State for moving on at The Stone Pony's Rock to the Top. You guys rock.

 

Bands competed in The Stone Pony's Rock to the Top concert serie. Ten bands will be in each showcase,  the top three from each show moving on to the semifinal round. Three bands from each of the three semifinal rounds will then become finalists in the big showdown, the RTT Finals.
We shared the stage with Zero Distance, Hybrid Earth, The Idjits, Flathead Sky, From the Depths,  Plug Fiction, Simple State and The Nameless.

All bands totally rocked. It was a great show of live music.

August 16, 2014 The Harmony Tour at The Bitter End NYC

ShamRock School of Music will once again present 6 hours of music from current students, graduated students and instructors. The stage this year is sponsored by the new Stop & Shop in Pompton Plains, Century 21 and SM Heating & Cooling. Acts performing include the After the Spider Band featuring Sean Demarest from Pequannock and found his love of performing as students at ShamRock and now have their own band and perform all around the Tri-State Area. On The Run is a band of current ShamRock Students ages 10-12 that have formed their own project and have been playing gigs in the area for the past 6 months. TOFU, our Xtreme Rock Band, will return to the stage after their powerful set at the Street Fair with a set of new tunes and a couple of new members. Our current Adult Rock Shop, Nu Trix along with Vince Genella & The Business will also hit the stage.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

September 20,2014 Pequannock Township's 32nd Annual Famiy Ho Down

The Sugar Loaf Fall Festival will celebrate its 45th year on October 11, 12, 13, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. It is the perfect place to spend the weekend watching the leaves turn colors, getting a breath of fresh cool air, and enjoying the festival filled with dozens of visiting crafters from the tri-state region.
There will be food vendors of various kinds and a whole line up of live music in the garden. The Entertainment schedule will include a range of styles such as blues, classic rock, folk and more. OCtober 12, 2014 Sugar Loaf Fall Music Festival

Tunes for Tots is a community of extraordinarily talented musicians that have come together in cities around the world to produce events that benefit children's charities. Starting on Black Friday, Tunes for Tots will launch its fourth "Sounds of the Season Holiday Mall Tour," which features multiple artists of different genres from all across the country providing great music for malls throughout the United States.
After the Spider will be participating in the Sounds of the Season Holiday Mall Tour at the Garden State Plaza Mall in Paramus NJ on Saturday December 20th from 12 to 2 pm.
We are looking forward to performing for this wonderful cause. We will be doing our first ever acoustic set. Bringing new songs and holiday favorites.

December 20, 2014 4th ANNUAL SOUNDS OF THE SEASONS HOLIDAY MALL TOUR
 

Youth Talent Show case hosted by Vince Genella at Jiggs Corner Music Saloon in Butler NJ. We will be the featured band with a full 45 mintue set. Followed by an open mic for other talented teenage musicians.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We performed at The Motorcyclepedia Museum in Newburgh NY. This event was sponsered by The Live-2-Create Project (L2CP). They are a nonprofit Organization located in Orange County NY. ALL PROCEEDS go towards 3 main programs:
The 1st program provides a forum for individuals of all ages to showcase their talents with stage performances in music, dance and visual arts. The performances will be held on the Live-2-Create Project stage in front of a live audience.
The 2nd program is our SENIOR/SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM where interested students showcase their talents in nursing homes, senior centers, homeless shelters, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, hospices and similar venues. We know there is a tremendous amount of talent in the area to give back to the community and at the same time earn a Community Service Certificate from L2CP for a college applications.
The 3rd program provides musical instruments and music instruction to children from low-income families throughout the Mid-Hudson region.

We have been asked by L4 Black Door Productions to perform at Cin-M-Art Phoenix in Hoboken, NJ. The venue is located in the New Jersey Transit Train Station. We take the stage from 6 to 7. The music continues to 10 pm. We will be joined by Rash the Link, Coyote Terminal and Last Minet.

We were asked to perform at the Sugar Loaf Spring Festival. We will be performing at the outdoor stage at The Bertoni Gallery. Hundreds of vendors with a beautiful variety of homemade items. Spend a great spring in Sugar Loaf, NY...shopping, music, food & friends.

The 3rd Elephants for Autism Music Festival will take place May 16-18, 2014 at Le Grand Fromage and The Boneyard Bar & Grill in Atlantic City NJ.

The event will feature 5 Stages and all door money raised at this event will benefit the music program at The Archway School in Atco, NJ.

Elephant Talks Indie Music mission is to bring indie music from around the world to one place in hopes to open the eyes (and ears) of music zombies and introduce them to something new and refreshing. We want to give undiscovered talent a voice. It's the music that matters most to us.

April 18, 2014 Planet Honda Battle of the Bands

Battle of the Bands sponsered by Planet Honda on Route 22 in Union NJ. Planet Honda will be hosting its Grand Re-Opening on April 18th, 2014 with the main event being a Battle of the Bands. Out of all the bands that applied only 6 were chosen to compete.

Triple Addicition came in first place. They were fantastic and a great bunch of guys. We came in second. It was a fun night seeing all the talented bands perform.

 

Community Connection & Business Expo will be held at the Monroe-Woodbury High School Sunday, April 27th from 11-3 pm WE TAKE THE STAGE AT 11:30
Sponsored by WHUD, Orange & Rockland Utilities and Greater Hudson Bank.
It is a LOCAL AWARENESS event, partnered with the MW school district, local businesses, non-profits and community services. It is open and free to the public.
The Expo includes 23 local music performances, including an all day concert series of 8 bands in the MW High school auditorium. 15 acoustic or instrumental sets as background music throughout all of the facility.

 

March 29, 2014  M.A.M.T.G Music Festival

 

The Mid Atlantic Music Teachers Guild (MAMTG) was founded by a group of professional music educators from the Tri-State area to establish and maintain high professional teaching and ethical standards, exchange music-related ideas, information and fellowship among colleagues, promote music education in our area, and to provide a platform for area music students to display their talents in a competitive environment. The Guild has been recognized as a viable musical organization throughout the entire Mid-Atlantic and New England States.
